Jewellery Techniques
Suffolk Silver Designs jewellery is made using traditional silversmithing techniques. Starting with silver wire or sheet, each piece is formed by sawing, bending and hammering. Because of this each piece is unique and completely hand made. Some pieces incorporate silver clay which is an exciting new way of forming silver.
Materials Used
All of the pieces are made from sterling (925) silver. Many of the pieces are too light to require full hall marks but they are stamped 925 where applicable. Items 7.78 grams and over are hallmarked.
